Cleaning

Reminder on Cleaning & Communal areas

The communal areas in the property are cleaned on a fortnightly basis.

Tenants are expected to maintain the property in between cleaning times. It may be a good idea to draw up a cleaning rota for the communal areas and bin duties if there is  conflict.

Tenants should clean up after themselves and dispose of their rubbish accordingly to avoid disputes.

Our cleaners do not do the dishes – do not expect them to.  Its easy if each person cleans and clears their plates, pans and dishes after use.

Make sure that when using plates, knives forks , spoons etc .. items are returned to the kitchen after use.  Do not hoard items in your room.

Do not use other tenants items and store them in your own possession.

Have respect for each other and don’t help yourself to other tenants food , cleaning products or any other items . Its just not good!

If you have a disaster in the kitchen , like mixing up smoothies without putting the lid on .  Please clean it all up.  Don’t walk away and leave your mess for others to find.

Communal areas are monitored by the staff and cleaners.  Anyone not taking a active part of keeping areas clean will be contacted.

The evening before the cleaner is due,  clean away your dishes .

Keep all the work tops clear. This will help the cleaners to do their jobs.

Whilst the cleaners are at the property , stay out of their way ,  The cleaners have limited time scales and cant wait till you knock up a food prep.

By everyone taking an active role in keeping on top of cleaning up after themselves and  disposing  of their rubbish correctly, the house can stay in good order for everyone to enjoy.

Please make sure that no fresh food or pans with food are left lying around.  There should be no exposed foods lying around in the house.  kitchen, communal or bedrooms.

The kitchen bin should not have food waste in it.  Food waste should go outside in the waste bin.

Waste food or exposed foods lying around is the biggest cause of pests, alongside the kitchen waste bin.

Do not create  a food source for pests to be attracted to the property.

DO NOT STORE FOOD IN BEDROOMS

LEAVE EXPOSED FOOD IN BEDROOMS

We will now be resuming normal service with regards to communal checks in all the properties.  We are happy that week 2 week the properties are all in excellent form.

Also Thank you to all tenants that contributed to the cleaning during the pandemic when the cleaning teams could not attend.

Thank you for the tenants that take the responsibility of  things like bins , sweeping the yards  and have care in keeping the house in good order.

Also the tenants that play active role in helping other tenants in the house and also new tenants that require assistance when settling in

YOUR AWESOME !!!
